Santa Ana Mesa
This is where I live. Home. This is where my heart is. Layer upon layer of further land rises higher and higher. Near junipered hillsides rise in graceful, sensuous curves. Beyond, the rounded, smooth arc of Santa Ana Mesa gleams golden in the low sun while the cliffs hiding yet from the sun are black as night. Beyond beyond, the sky-reaching Jemez Mountains lord over everything. The very air between glows purple in the low light.
