"I just love the desert Southwest, the people, land, architecture and the light, especially the light. We have everything from broad majestic vistas to stunningly artistic images in the smaller details, if you just look for them.

And our light paints it all beautifully in a way I've only rarely seen anywhere else in the country. It is invigorating to live here (and be able to produce these images). "

I currently shoot only traditional film and only transparency (slide) film. Most of my serious work is done with medium format 6cm by 7cm slide film and then digitally scanned. A bit of my work is done on 4x5 inch film. I use several different labs to get prints directly from the transparencies.
