When I was younger, the idea of our being connected to each other was a
key exploration in the development of my painting. As I've aged, that
connectedness seems even more profound. Exploring complex
connections is at the root of the work I've been involved with. Using paint
(acrylic, oil, watercolors and ink) to develop and work layers always
provides a surprising and fresh way to deal with each painting/drawing.
