Lynn Hartenberger is an emerging artist who paints in soft pastel and
occasionally, watercolor and oil. She has a degree in Mathematics from
Douglass College with a minor emphasis in her first love art. She earned a
Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of New
Mexico.
Having raised five children in Placitas, NM, surrounded by mesa vistas,
mountains and flowers, she brings her maturity as a mother and her love
for the natural beauty of New Mexico together in her work.
She has shown her paintings in the prestigious Masterworks of New
Mexico exhibition, the New Mexico Pastel Society’s National Show and the
NMPS Jury of Peers show. She exhibits and sells her art at arts and crafts
shows and from her studio.
Most of Lynn’s work is representational and develops themes from
nature—fruits, vegetables and flowers in still life, landscapes of New
Mexico and portraits of interesting people. She has her own company,
Lynnie Bug Studios, through which she produces and sells reproduction
cards and prints of her artwork.
