We receive silent messages from both the inside and the outside; the past and the present; from the here and the there. Ageless images link us to the universal and act as a vehicle for visualizing and interpreting these quiet voices. The shapes are inspired by ancient images, native artifacts, architectural details and animals that touch our spirit. My sculptural forms are handcrafted from various materials including metal, wood, clay and paper. The surfaces are painted and glazed to give a sense of history. The shapes continually evolve and simplify as I search for the essence of the images.
