Expressing my creativity began through my love of landscape and
gardening. Those elements of vibrant color found in flowers and plants,
the lines and patterns in rocks, and the flow of water, are the inspiration for
my paintings.
One evening while painting a sunset, it was the variation of shapes and
changing colors in the clouds that began my interest in a more abstract
style.
I use acrylic paints because of its non-toxicity and versatility. It allows for
the mixing with various mediums to create different effects.
