Anna Goodridge
Anna Goodridge's art education began at Ball State University where she
earned a Bachelor of Science degree in education with a specialty in the
teaching of art. Anna's art interests have continued during and after 30
years in the classroom.
Upon retiring from teaching, Anna has focused primarily on oil painting.
She has studied with many art instructors in California and Albuquerque.
Some of the Albuquerque instructors included Ted Hogsett, Dianne
Schlies, Holly Roberts, Virginia Baich and Deborah Gravel.
Most recently Anna's work has appeared in The Placitas Artists Series and
in the Gathering of Artists Gallery.
Artist's statement:
"I think of myself as a facilitator. Creating art means being still, going
inside, and allowing the creations to reveal themselves. I love the paint,
the colors, the textures, the light and the mystery. My intention is for the
art to inspire the viewer and to create a spiritual experience."
